WHAT IS IT ABOUT?This project aims to inform future development and improvements to the Kununurra Town Centre. This is in response to the Community future Focus Areas identified in the Strategic Community Plan. these are to make the Shire more:
Why is this a priority? Improving our town centres is something our community told us they want to see happen over the next ten years and is part of the community goals for the future. Community Goal: Accessible places - Places that are connected, accessible and well maintained Community goal outcomes:

- Identify pedestrian and bicycle destinations and routes
- Schools, Library, Leisure Centre, Splash Park, Visitor Centre, White Gum Park, shops etc.
- New shared path network
- Identify future road crossing points
- Review road layout
- Review parking provision and locations
